Volume Loss

The use of dermal fillers ,made out of hyaluronic acid gel or calcium hydroxylapatite, or biostimulators, made out of poly-L lactic acid, to treat and restore areas of volume loss.

Fillers

  • Different dermal fillers are made up of different densities. We choose the appropriate product depending on the area to be treated in order to give you your desired results.

  • Fillers can be used to plump lips, define chins and jawlines, contour cheeks, lift and straighten noses, fill hollow temples, and restore volume to the hands.

Multiple areas can be done during a session. Fillers can be used to brighten areas of shadowing, enhance desired features, create highlights and contours, reshape the face, and improve overall facial balance.

  • Fillers are safe and FDA approved. However, there are always risks to getting filler injections. One of the biggest risks is vascular occlusion (VO), which is when filler is inadvertently injected into a blood vessel, blocking blood flow to certain areas of your face. This is rare and may be reversible if caught early on so it is important to choose an injector who is well versed in recognizing the signs and symptoms of a VO and is also well prepared to treat it. At our clinic, we have our very own ultrasound machine which can be used in diagnosing and aid in treating a VO.

  • Everyone has different pain tolerances but for the most part, it is a very tolerable procedure with numbing. The fillers also have lidocaine inside the product so it will also numb the area as we continue the procedure.

  • A week before the treatment, try to avoid consuming alcohol or taking medications or supplements that thin the blood unless medically needed (examples are aspirin, ibuprofen, Gingko Biloba, or Ginseng). We also recommend taking arnica tablets, bromelain tablets, or using arnica gel post procedure. This will help minimize the risk of bruising. Please come to your appointment without makeup in the area to be treated. Afterwards, we recommended avoiding exercise and other strenuous activities for 3 days. Keep the area clean and avoid makeup in the area for 24 hours. Avoid pressure in the treated areas for at least 2 weeks.

  • Some common side effects are redness, tenderness, and potential bruising in the injection sites.

  • You will see results instantly. However, you will be swollen and will not see the final results until over 2 weeks later as the filler integrates with the body.

  • Duration varies from person to person and from product to product. Typically, products last about 1-2 years. We recommend going slow with your treatments and can discuss a treatment plan for upkeep that works best for you.

Biostimulators

  • Sculptra (poly-L lactic acid) is injected into to face, neck, chest or body to help stimulate collagen production. Sculptra is injected over several treatments resulting in gradual and natural collagen production. As collagen is replenished you will notice a decrease in fine lines and wrinkles as well as tighter skin with a healthy glow.

For best results, most clients will need several vials over the course of 2-3 appointments that will be spaced 4-6 weeks apart. On average we recommend one vial per decade of life.

Set up a complimentary consultation to see if you are a Sculptra candidate!

  • Radiesse & Hyperdilute Radiesse (calcium hydroxyapatite) stimulates your body to produce more collagen that results in firmer, more youthful skin. Radiesse can be used on the face and hands. Hyperdilute Radiesse uses the same product that is thinned out using saline and lidocaine to treat the face, neck and body as well.

For most treatment areas you will need one to two syringes per treatment. Most patients see optimal results after 2-3 treatments spaced out 6-8 weeks.

  • A skin booster acting as an injectable moisturizer with will improve skin texture and hydration. This will not change facial volume or structure.

Just for you.
