What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is performed using a device to create hundreds to thousands of microscopic channels in the skin which in turn, stimulates collagen production. RF Microneedling encorporates radiofrequency to address deeper levels to amplify the production of skin improving proteins and enzymes like collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid.

As we age, we naturally lose collagen. Microneedling can help the skin produce new collagen and elastin with minimum downtime to return skin to its density when it was younger. After a series of treatments, you will notice an improvement in skin tone, texture, scarring, fine lines, and acne. Studies have shown that the benefits will continue up to 6 months after. Having a consistent treatment plan along with the right products can also help with unwanted pigmentation.

RF microneedling can address deeper skin layers with it’s insulated needles to achieve a more dramatic result. If you are new to microneedling, we recommend going traditional microneedling. For skin that is more lax or needs a more dramatic change, we recommend initially treating with RF microneedling to get you to your desired result and then maintaining the results with regular microneedling.

We include customized peels for microneedling after assessing the skin and determining that it would be appropriate to give you the best results.
Other optional add ons are PRF and exosomes to improve healing.

Yes! It is important to have microneedling performed with an FDA-cleared device because it has been thoroughly tested and has passed multiple electrical and safety tests for biocompatibility, including testing for irritation and cytotoxicity, and sensitization ensuring none of the materials used are harmful to the patient. These tests also include design verification and validation testing.

Everyone is a candidate for this treatment except pregnant and breastfeeding women or if you have active acne. We recommend treating the active acne first before having a treatment.

The procedure is very tolerable as we numb clients for 20 minutes before every procedure. The procedure itself takes about 30 minutes. You may feel slight scratching and vibrating sensations.

You may be slightly pink for the first day but recovery with the Rejuvapen and Skinpen are much quicker than with other microneedling devices due to its unique microneedling technique. We recommend staying out of the sun for prolonged periods of time for the first week and using sun protection and SPF when outdoors.

You may peel during the first week during recovery and will see bright, glowing skin soon after! However, more significant results will show over the course of the next few months as your body starts to build collagen and elastin.

We recommend 4-6 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart for the best results and following aftercare with professional grade products. We will provide aftercare as well as recommendation for skincare products to enhance and maintain your results.
